RAW Beauty Talks would like to invite you, in all your bare-faced glory, to participate in our inaugural RAW Beauty Talks Challenge on Wednesday, April 30!
THE CHALLENGE
We want you to post a photo of your naturally beautiful self without any make-up, photo editing or filters – completely raw. The goal of this campaign is to create a dialogue regarding the immense pressures faced by women to fit into socially constructed notions of ‘beauty.’ We welcome you to share your reasons for participating, or simply post your answers to some of our RAW questions below alongside your photo.
Is this the same as those #NoMakeupSelfies everyone is posting?
No! We appreciate what they are doing but this is for a different cause and one that is equally as important. With so many girls watching your every move, you have the opportunity to be a positive role model, a game changer and a leader. By embracing your flaws you’re showing your followers that you may not be perfect according to media and celebrity-culture’s standards but you have confidence in yourself as you are; that is empowering stuff!
CAMPAIGN DETAILS
When: Wednesday, April 30
How: Post a photo of yourself RAW on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter on April 30th with the hashtag #rawbeautychallenge #rawbeautytalks; follow @RAWBeautyTalks and @dermalogicaCDN on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to be entered into a prize draw to win a $400 Dermalogica prize pack. Winners will be drawn and announced on May 4.
