An Orchard Summer Brunch
This summer we teamed up with The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Petite Pearl Events to host an intimate summer brunch in support of youth media literacy and positive body image program, Free To Be. Forty incredible women and men joined us at The Orchard for delicious soul food, raw conversation and the launch of our crowdfunding campaign for this important program. Here are some highlights of the special day!

Get Involved
“1 in 6 youth will experience an anxiety disorder at some point in their life, with rates of anxiety and depression increasing by 70 percent over the past 25 years. A recent study found that Instagram is the most damaging social network to young people’s mental wellbeing, causing feelings of inadequacy and anxiety.”
Raw Beauty Talks & Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe want to change this stat by raising funds for youth positive body image and media literacy program, Free To Be!
What is Free To Be?
Free To Be is a research-based positive body image program for youth in grades six to eight. The program empowers boys and girls to reach their full potential by developing media literacy awareness, cultivating individual strengths, building resilience to social pressures that impact body image, and nurturing a positive social environment.
To learn more about the program please visit www.freetobetalks.com.
How You Can Support
Last year, with your generous support, Raw Beauty Talks was able to send 1,000 students through the program at no charge to schools. This year we want to double that number while supporting their team in building out the infrastructure to take the program North America-wide.
