Whether you’re just getting started with meditation or are a seasoned sitter, this workshop will bring you back to the basics of this ancient, life-enhancing practice.

There is Power in Presence

In our fast-paced, hustle-obsessed culture, it can be challenging to feel present. Most of us are constantly connected to our phones, feel “too busy” to make time for ourselves, and live with jam-packed calendars and never-ending to-do lists. 

Enter meditation.

This ancient practice, which originated in India and has been around for thousands of years, helps us to slow down. Sitting still – while challenging when we’re first starting out – helps us to hold space for all of our emotions; the good, the bad, and the ugly. 

Studies show that cultivating a meditation practice can help to:

Reduce stress and anxiety

Increase creativity, focus, and productivity

Develop a greater sense of self-awareness

Feel more present

Generate empathy and kindness

Increase patience and tolerance
