Ava Johanna survived homelessness at 16 and spent her early 20’s managing uncomfortable emotions by erasing night after night with alcohol. She knows the weight our histories can hold…and how it can be lifted through our breath.

Ava is the founder of an international breathwork and meditation school called The Academy of Breath, and has worked with top brands in the wellness space like Alo Yoga, Mindbodygreen, and Yoga Journal.
