5 steps to end the battle with food & your body

What is all this talk about self love and self care and can it really make a difference in your life?

I know it’s a bit of a buzz word these days and it can sound a little woo woo at times but I truly believe it’s the number one needle mover in feeling healthier, happier, less stressed and more confident.  I know because it changed my whole life.

I used to think it worked like this…

Step #1: Get the dream body, man, home, job etc.
Step #2: Finally feel happy, healthy and confident because I managed to get the items listed above

The reality?  The more I focused on obtaining these external things in order to generate self love the more I struggled with my weight, anxiety, toxic relationships and negative self talk.

It was only when I started practicing self care and tuning into the needs of my body, mind and soul (self love) that everything actually started to come together.  I found a happy place with my weight, my energy increased, I attracted positive relationships into my life (hello husband, baby boy, girl on the way and a support network you can’t put a price tag on) and I even found the confidence to start my dream business.

Seeing such a dramatic shift in my own life is what makes me so passionate about helping other women experience the same thing. Life is short. There’s no time to waste being stuck anywhere than where you want to be. As a wellness coach I get to help you move from point A to point B.

Here are 3 ways you can start incorporating more self love into your life:

  1. Practice tuning into your body and listening to what it’s asking for.  We spend so much time lost in our thoughts, listening to the advice of other people and charging through our day that we don’t actually tap into all the messages our body is sending us.   When we start to listen we’re able to make choices that move us towards optimal health and wellness.  If you need a little help figuring out how to listen check out my Mind Body Soul Scan.
